IN HONOUR OF HOLOCAUST EDUCATION WEEK, THE NEUBERGER CENTRE AND USC SHOAH FOUNDATION PRESENT THE FIRST VR FILM TO TAKE AUDIENCES THROUGH A CONCENTRATION CAMP.

The Last Goodbye is an award-winning, virtual-reality film that transports viewers inside the Nazi death camp Majdanek in Poland with Toronto-based Holocaust survivor Pinchas Gutter. In his final return to Majdanek, Pinchas tours the concentration camp where his parents and twin sister were murdered during the Second World War. As Pinchas recounts his experiences, you walk alongside him—seeing what he sees, hearing what he hears, and learning as he guides you through an account of his own history.

In this 1-hour visit, participants will experience a 20-minute virtual reality testimony produced by USC Shoah Foundation. In addition to the VR film, visitors will take part in pre- and post-experience activities to contextualize this immersive testimony.

We are now accepting bookings for schools, individuals, and other groups for the month of November.
