Welcome to HEW 2022

After three years, the Holocaust Education Centre is thrilled to return to in person programming as we present Neuberger Holocaust Education Week 2022. This year's HEW will showcase our exemplary work as leaders in the field of Holocaust education throughout the decades and provide a glimpse of what is in store with the opening of the new Toronto Holocaust Museum in spring 2023. Join us to explore the future of Holocaust education, today.

Neuberger Holocaust Education Week programs are presented thanks to the generous support of our HEW 2022 sponsors and donors. To support HEW and our year-round programs, please consider a donation.

HOLOCAUST EDUCATION WEEK 2022 is excited to be back in person with streaming options available for select programs.

Meet our HEW 2022 Co-Chairs

The Holocaust Education Centre is thrilled to have Samantha and Jeff Gottesman as co-chairs of Neuberger HEW 2022.

With four survivor grandparents, we are deeply committed to Holocaust education and remembrance. Having grown up with the privilege of hearing firsthand testimony, it is our responsibility to share this legacy with our children and the broader community.

With increased antisemitism and hate in the world, we are committed to raising awareness about Holocaust education and supporting initiatives like Holocaust Education Week and the future Toronto Holocaust Museum. These vital programs and projects help ensure that the lessons of the past are not forgotten and tragedies like the Shoah never happen again. We hope you will join us for HEW 2022 and be part of the future of Holocaust education. With a wide array of programs examining this history from a multitude of perspectives, there is truly something for everyone. We look forward to learning together throughout the week and ensuring we can make our world a better place through education, understanding and awareness.
