In this program for high school students and their parents, we will present different depictions of the Holocaust in mainstream media and discuss the educational value of these methodologies. We will also compare and contrast past educational tools and the present tools to discuss how content has changed in order to meet the needs of the audience.

Risa Epstein is the National Executive Director of Canadian Young Judaea and has been the lead educator for their Poland Mission for the past three summers. Risa was Director of Camp Solelim for 13 years and is the Director of Machane Lev, Canada's first Jewish camp that caters to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
