FREE CONCERT / CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES

In partnership with the German Consulate of Toronto, the Canadian Opera Company presents a free chamber music concert to commemorate 80 years since Kristallnacht, the wave of violent anti-Jewish pogroms which took place on November 9 and 10, 1938. German pianist Constanze Beckmann and violinist Atis Bankas perform works by persecuted Jewish composers who used music to give hope and help them to survive the darkest hours of Nazi occupation.
