Although the Holocaust technically ended in 1945, for those who survived the Nazi atrocities, as well as their descendants, it’s still very much alive. In this panel, curated and moderated by second-generation (2G) survivor descendant and international bestselling author, Emily Wanderer Cohen, four generations of individuals with one common thread, the Holocaust, discuss their shared and divergent experiences. Topics include transmitted trauma and inherited resilience, and the responsibilities that accompany a familial connection to the Holocaust.

The moderator, Emily Wanderer Cohen, is the daughter and granddaughter of Holocaust survivors and the international best-selling author of "From Generation to Generation: Healing Intergenerational Trauma Through Storytelling." She is a Holocaust educator, keynote speaker, and intergenerational trauma expert.
